In the past two years, I have become a consumer of baby and mommy goods. Who knew that there was so much stuff out there?

 

At first, I was overwhelmed. I worried about what gear to register for because I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed for my baby. At the same time, I didn't want to waste money.

 

Some stuff is great and really can make your life easier. Some of it is just a waste of time and space. I realize that a lot of this is personal opinion-- I really like the baby wipe warmer, but, I draw the line on the portable warmer for the diaper bag. I have enough to carry around as it is!

And while there are some things that I have purchased in the last year that feel like a waste, there are others that I praise to every mom I encounter. But, even then, I couldn't help but wonder, "Why does this cost so much?" And, "Wouldn't it be better if we changed a, b or c?"

Nursing Covers
This apron is a must-have for any nursing mom. It travels with us everywhere we go, and has made me feel comfortable nursing in situations where I otherwise would have had to head home. I wish I had found it sooner!

Travel Diaper Changing Pads
This is a great changing pad. It is soft and colorful. The pocket holds wipes and diapers so that it’s easy to change my daughter while we're out. This is going to be my new baby shower gift!
